Specific admission requirements: Candidates present a portfolio and have an interview with the commission.

Qualification requirements and regulations: In order to get their qualification students must be allocated 90 credits - 51 credits from compulsory courses, 15 from elective courses, 9 credits from optional courses and 15 credits from State Examination.
Profile of the programme: Master’s programme "Web design" aims at training highly qualified, modern thinking and competitive Web designers. Web design specialists have to acquire fundamental knowledge and skills for design, development, optimization, implementation and maintenance of web applications, necessary for successive independent creative work and work in a team.
Key learning outcomes
Graduates from the master’s programme in Web design are acquainted with the contemporary theories, practices and approaches of Web design and Web programming, necessary for the creation of a dynamic and user-oriented graphic interface, combined with modern technologies for the development of applications: knowledge of colours, typography, structural combinatorics, composition, web technologies, web programming, and web standards.
They gain skills for the design and realization of a completed graphic project and software application in the web. This includes skills for combining different graphic and multimedia elements for the creation of aesthetically effective and practical user interface: work with 2D and 3D software, audio-video assembly and processing, using HTML and CSS, programming of Action Script and My SQL, applying contemporary web standards and means of optimization.
Occupational profiles of graduates
The profession of a Web designer is very prestigious and the graduates can successfully realize as Web designers at advertising agencies, as well as at companies dealing with Web programming, to design and create different in their application graphic user interfaces. They could manage advertising agencies and companies for Web design and development, to be experts and consultants in the state administration, in private companies, cultural institutes, non-governmental organizations, to teach at universities, etc.

Examination regulations, assessment and grading: During the education – tests, course assignments or course projects; at the end of the education – written and practical exams.
Graduation requirements: graduation by developing and defense of a diploma work.
