Specific admission requirements: Completed secondary or higher education and a passed entrance exam. The grades of the state examinations are recognized for an entrance exam too.
Specific arrangements for recognition of prior learning:
The recognition of credits based on prior learning is done on the basis of presented diplomas and transcripts, as well as internationally recognized professional certificates.
• Recognition procedure: Application for recognition, accompanied by the relevant documents shall be submitted to the Secretary of the program. The application is considered by the ECTS coordinator of the Department and lecturers. Scientific adviser prepares an individual plan of the student, which reflects the recognized disciplines. The individual plan is approved Departmental Council of the Department "Computer Science and Economics".
• Procedure for the recognition of non-formal education: recognition of the knowledge obtained through informal channels or through self-learning happens after submitting an application for certification by the student and passing a certification exam.
Qualification requirements and regulations, including graduation equirements*:
In order to get their qualification students must be allocated 240 credits -161 credits from compulsory courses, 48 from elective courses, 18 credits from optional courses, 3 credits from a pre-graduation internship and 10 credits from state examination (theoretical exam or diploma project defense).
Profile of the programme: Bachelor program of digital economy develop integrated knowledge and skills in key areas of science, education and business practice in the field of economics in the context of the digital economy, Forth industrial revolution and continuously developing digital markets. In excellent conditions offered by Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" training undergraduate program, students acquire relevant and useful knowledge and skills in the national and international economy, information technology, international and digital business, finance, traditional and digital marketing, financial markets IT business analysis, digital entrepreneurship and others. Training is most closely connected and determined by the interests and perspectives of economics and modern business to grow and works in real and virtual environments.
In the curriculum is clearly visible presence of international experts such as Professor Vredeveld and Professor McDonald (long-term partners of VFU), professors from partner universities (Sanda, China) as well as experts from practice, who will participate in Peer Review key themes (Martin Paev, Sortis Group and Yavor Jacev, Pioneer investment) in the disciplines "Financial markets and investment", "International finance" and "Capital budgeting".
Programme learning outcomes: The degree is designed to prepare and train students with professional interests in economics, information technology and their interrelated as digital marketing, digital economy, digital business, digital enterprise, IT business analysis and others. Attention is paid to the international economic centers, international finance, marketing and management, financial management of companies and banks. For this purpose curriculum includes basic and specialized courses.

* In Varna Free University, a credit equals 30 lessons, of which 10 contact hours (lectures and seminars) and 20 hours independent work.

Examination regulations and grading scale: for each course is held semester examination. Currently in the process of learning to prepare and decide test cases and tasks or develop coursework. Practice ends with the development of a course project. In curricula out the elements of the exam and the precise evaluation criteria. Students must be introduced at the beginning of each course requirements for exam and evaluation methods in the respective discipline.

Work-based learning - part of the lessons of the curriculum are taught by business representatives based on real cases and projects practice and in some cases are held in the company itself. Students have the opportunity to further attend in internships and practices in program's partner companies, master classes by prominent scientists and practitioners within which to acquire entrepreneurial skills and knowledge on actual topics as gamification, digital marketing practices, smart technologies and others.
Occupational profiles of graduates: The resulting education is a sound basis for a successful career in business administration, economic structures and scientific institutions. Bachelor's degrees of education in the digital economy have the necessary training to implement as:
Access to further studies: Successful graduates can continue their education in Master programs in the field of Economics and if they pass all needed courses from elective they can continue in Master programs from professional area of informatics and computer science.
