Arch. Dimitar Boyadzhiev, graduate of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" with first prize in the competition of Intercom Group Briz EOOD for a conceptual design of a residential building 2016. Unanimously, the first prize was awarded to the talented graduate of Varna Free University, whose work stands out among the others with aesthetic vision, functional disposition of the living space and faultlessly compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Emine Embie, graduate in Tourism Management at Varna Free University; she is a marketeer at a site for collective shopping. Success is something complex. It is important to me to be satisfied with myself, to perfect myself every day. For me, success is that I have left a mark and I have implemented many things.

Arch. Kristina Marinova, graduate of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", a master’s degree student of Cultural Heritage Preservation. At the end of 2015, Kristina won first prize in the National Competition of the Architectural Heritage Society with her project for Ruse Music Centre. I would like to thank Assoc. Prof. Krasimira Vacheva and Arch. Zhechka Ilieva who aroused in me love to cultural heritage. They are the main driver of the master's degree programme, in which I am currently studying. Their love and dedication to architectural heritage is contagious. Besides, I thank also with all my heart Arch. Vanya Karadzhova, who is my employer and a role model of an exceptional and talented architect.

Diana Ginova is a psychologist, psychotherapist and writer. She graduated in Psychology at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar"and Neo-Reichian Analytical Psychotherapy at the Institute of Psychosomatic Psychotherapy. She has specialized in Bulgaria and abroad.

Orlin Kalev is a regional representative for Bulgaria of the Belgian company Electrawinds, which develops projects in the field of renewable energy sources.

He also has his own consultancy company in the energy sector, which is his second experience with his own business, and behind him are several years as part of E.ON.'s team.

The famous photographer and artist Svetlozar Nedev opened his solo painting exhibition entitled Cosmic Relation in Pomorie Gallery.

Mladen Mladenov - Professional Bachelor of Business Administration; Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" (2010) - Master of Economics and International Marketing. He worked at Kremikovtzi Metallurgical Plant, then as a manager for various construction, transport and tourism companies. Mayor of Vrabnitsa district since November 2007.

2015 - Simona Shangova, Plamena Nankova and Kristina Filipova won first place in the National Competition for Civil and Commercial Law Case Studies.

2015 - solo photographic exhibition of Hristo Rusev - winner of the scholarship programme of Varna Free University "I will study and succeed in Bulgaria" for 2014 within the framework of the youth forum entitled Parusa Ruskava mira (the ship of the Russian world) organized by the Russkiya Mir Foundation in St Petersburg.

2013 - first place for Yordan Mihalev - student of Fashion and Fashion Management, in the Young Designer category at the contest Ethno Tendance Fashion Weekend Brussels. A year later, he conquered the fashion podiums of Paris and Milan.

In 2014, he introduced a new collection in Paris. He participated in the Rotterdam Fashion Week in 2015.

2013 - award for the best diploma thesis of the Territorial Organization of Scientific and Technical Unions - Varna for Desislava Mateva, student of Fashion Design.

2012 - first place in the international online contest BMW Facebook Super Fan for Todor Todorov – master’s degree student of International Marketing.

2011 - Maria Burova, Fashion Design student, winner of the prestigious contest for "Best Diploma Thesis", organized by the Territorial Organization of Scientific and Technical Unions - Varna and the Municipality of Varna, with a diploma thesis entitled "I’ve Shaved my Head... I'm not Dying. "

2010 - the students of Fashion and Fashion Management with diplomas and awards at the final of the JEANSATION competition in Monte Carlo.

In competition with students from established universities from all over the world, Darina Yanakieva - a student of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", won an award in one of the three categories: "The Best" - Jeans compliment in the Jeansation World Jeans Competition, Monte Carlo.

2010 - participation of Fashion Design students at the International Fashion Forum - Ruse 2010. Fashion is Beauty Award from Brisay, Germany, for the VFU student Dimitrina Tasheva.

2009 – world kickboxing title for the student of International Relations Plamena Dimova.
2010 - Student Plamena Dimova with first place at K-1 (kickboxing) tournament, Merseburg, Germany and with a gold medal at the European kickboxing championship, Baku, Azerbaijan.

2009-2013 The Culture and Spiritual Development Directorate of the Municipality of Varna awarded a certificate of achievement to the Folklore Ensemble at the "Chernorizets Hrabar" Academic Dance Theatre for participation in the city festival of the folk art entitled Velikdenska Pletenitsa.

2008 - 2015 – Personal annual awards of the Municipality of Varna for VFU students, active participants in the activities of the Students Council with contribution to the formation of youth policy of the Municipality of Varna; participants in sports competitions, conferences, seminars and scientific forums.

2008 - Two second awards for VFU teams at the National Student Plein Air Workshop entitled ArchiMoria 2008, organized by the Municipality of Burgas, the Union of Architects in Bulgaria and the Municipal Children's Complex in Burgas.

2008 - Awards for VFU students at the International Student Olympiad in Business and Management at the St Petersburg University of Economics and Business, Russian Federation.

2008 - First prize for dance groups of the Folklore Ensemble at the "Chernorizets Hrabar" Academic Dance Theatre at the 15th National Competition entitled Christmas Dancing Competition - Varna 2008.
