XXII SUMMER SCIENTIFIC SESSION OF THE FACULTY OF LAW HAS STARTED

XXII Summer Scientific Session of the Faculty of Law is being held at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar". It was opened by Prof. D. Sc. Yonko Kunchev - dean of the faculty. The event was honored by the chairperson of the Board of Trustees - Prof. D.Sc. Anna Nedyalkova and the academic management of the university.
The summer academic session of the Faculty of Law is held in three fields - Legal Sciences, Security and Safety and Psychology, which are united by the topics: Law: Challenges and Solutions; Geopolitical and International Legal Dimensions of National Security and Applied Psychology - Possibilities and Perspectives. The plenary keynotes were presented by Prof. Dr. Petar Hristov, rector of Varna Free University, Prof. D. Sc.Yonko Kunchev, Dean of the Faculty of Law, and Prof. D. Sc. Lyudmil Georgiev - lecturer at the Department of Psychology.
Olga Rodenko from the National University "Chernigov Polytechnic" in Ukraine presented a silver medal to the rector of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" Prof. Dr. Petar Hristov as a sign of appreciation and respect for the long-standing partnership between the two universities.
A special guest at the event was Lilia Hristova - director of the Education and Youth Activities Directorate of Varna Municipality. She took part in the Positive Psychology section, in which Prof. Rumen Stamatov, a lecturer at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" presented the topic Positive Psychology in Education. Immediately after it, Albena Pavlova and Kapka Nikolova - both from Geo Milev Secondary School Varna, presented the successful project "Programme for Promoting Well-being at School", implemented with Varna Free University. Guests of the presentation were headteachers and psychologists from many schools and kindergartens at the Maritime Capital, teachers, doctoral and university students.
The topics of the conference provoked the interest of participants from universities and scientific organizations from Bulgaria and abroad, who today and tomorrow will present more than 90 scientific articles. Scientists, researchers, experts, doctoral and university students from leading Bulgarian universities - VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", the Technical University - Varna, Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, Paisiy Hilendarski University of Plovdiv, VTU St. St. Cyril and Methodius, Southwest University "Neofit Rilski", Blagoevgrad, UNIBIT. Scientists from the State and Law Institute at the Bulgarian Academy of Science, the Institute for Population and Human Research, the Institute for Personal and Organizational Effectiveness, etc. will participate in the conference.
