VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABER" WORKS WITH VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOLS TO CREATE STRATEGIES IN SUPPORT OF CENTERS FOR HIGH ACHIEVEMENTS

Varna Free University is the organizer and host of a meeting with vocational high schools in the country - Centers for Excellence. The event brought together more than 15 head teachers and representatives who discussed the possibilities of creating the development strategies of the Centers for Excellence.
The meeting was opened by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eleonora Tankova, vice-rector of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", who welcomed the participants and invited them to join the upcoming conference on positive psychology in education in the autumn.
Prof. Dr. Velislava Nikolaeva, lecturer in the "Administration and Management" Department at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", introduced the participants to the technology for creating a Strategy for the Development of a Center for Excellence. The meeting became the starting point for a discussion in which the place of the Centers for Excellence and their partnership with the university in the knowledge triangle was discussed. The participants expressed their appreciation for the professional and partnership relations with the university.
The working meeting is a result of the partnership commitments undertaken by Varna Free University. In February 2024, the university became a partner of a meeting for the exchange of innovative educational practices "Leadership in Vocational Education" under the national programme "Innovations in Action". The organizer and host of the event was the Innovative Vocational High School of Agriculture "Todor Rachinski" in General Toshevo.
VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" is a reliable partner of vocational high schools in the country and actively works with more than 10 Centers for excellence in vocational education and training. The university continues to support and promote cooperation between the academic community and professional educational institutions, aiming at improving the quality of education and the training of personnel to meet the needs of the modern labour market.
