VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABER" IS HOSTING AN INTERNATIONAL INTERNSHIP FOR DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" welcomed over 50 university and doctoral students, lecturers, scientists and representatives of the academic management of various universities from Ukraine and Kazakhstan, who are doing an international internship at the university on the topic "Digital Technologies for Sustainable Development". The event has more than 10 years of history and significant results, thanks to long-term cooperation with partners from Ukraine and Kazakhstan, under the leadership of Assoc. Dr. Marina Day - President of E-science Space.
During the opening of the internship, the guests were welcomed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eleonora Tankova - Deputy Rector of the University and Prof. D. Sc. Yonko Kunchev - Dean of the Faculty of Law. The participants took a tour around Varna Free University and learned about the opportunities for academic exchange and training. Some of them will participate in the XXIII Summer Scientific Session of the Faculty of Law, 2024, which starts on Friday.
The initiative is the result of joint work and mutual understanding between the partners - Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" (Bulgaria), E-science Space, National Aviation University (Ukraine), National University of Law "Yaroslav Mudriy" (Ukraine), Center for Strategic Innovation and Progressive Development (Ukraine) and International Education Corporation (Kazakhstan). The internship programme includes lectures and work sessions dedicated to digital technologies and their application in sustainable development, as well as various practical activities and simulations.
The participants will discuss current topics and exchange experience and good practices. The internship will last until June 30, 2024, and the participants will have the opportunity to establish new professional contacts and build a network of like-minded people with whom they can continue to work and develop in the field of digital technologies and sustainable development. The event is an excellent example of successful cooperation between universities and organizations from different countries.
