VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABER" IN SUPPORT OF THE VICTIMS OF THE DEVASTATING EARTHQUAKE IN TURKEY AND SYRIA

On initiative of selfless students from Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", the Student Council and the management of the university decided to support the campaign to collect material donations and money to help the victims of the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria on February 6.
We call on all members of the academic community of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" to use the channels of the Bulgarian Red Cross, as well as the account opened by the BRC to collect donations.
At the moment, the most urgent needs are:
► new warm children's, women's and men's clothes and shoes;
► new bedding;
► new warm blankets;
► hygienic materials (for personal hygiene).
And also family tents, tent heaters, lanterns and batteries.
BRC will directly transport all donations to the affected areas, which is why they should meet sanitary and hygienic requirements.
In Varna, donations are accepted until February 11, 2023 at the address: 3 Bratya Shkorpil Street, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
In Sofia, donations are accepted at the 9th Regional Office of Fire Safety and Protection of Population in "Lyulin" 10, 1989"Dr. Petar Dertliev" Blvd., from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Donations are also accepted in all regional organizations of the BRC in the country.

You can also support the Bulgarian Red Cross campaign by sending a text worth BGN 1 to the short number 1466 for all mobile operators.
VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" will send a letter of condolence to the Turkish people in the open book of the Consulate General of Turkey in Burgas.
