VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABER" AWARDED THE WINNERS IN THE REGIONAL ROUND OF THE NATIONAL COMPETITION FOR THE BEST YOUNG BUILDER

Prof. Gencho Panicharov and Assist. Prof. Dimitar Georgiev awarded the winners of the regional round of the National Competition: The Best Young Builder, which was held in the Vocational high school in Construction "Penyo Penev" in Silistra.
Six teams from Vocational High Schools in Architecture and Construction from the Northeastern Bulgaria - Varna, Ruse, Shumen, Targovishte, Razgrad and Silistra - took part in the competition. The 28 students competed in the following categories:
► dry construction;
► Wienerberger Masonry;
► linings and flooring;
► plastering and painting.
The winner was Vocational High School in Construction "Penyo Penev"- Ruse. The event is being held for the 15th year in a row, the organizer is the Ministry of Education and Science, and Silistra is the host for the fourth time.
Prof. Panicharov and Assist. Prof. Georgiev presented to the students and participants of the competition the opportunities to continue their education in the specialties of Varna Free University and invited the student teams to participate in the National Competition for Creative Skills Varna Spaghetti Engineering at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", which will be held on April 1, 2023.
