VFU “CHERNORIZETS HRABAR” WITH A POSITIV MARK TO BE CERTIFIED WITH THE AWARD „HR EXCELLENCE IN RESEARCH”

VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" is the first Bulgarian university to receive the “HR Excellence in Research” award. The award is given by the European Commission, Directorate-General for Research and Innovation to research organizations that accept and implement the principles in the European Charter for Researchers and the code of conduct for the recruitment of researchers. VFU has had the award for seven years. In October 2019, the university will be visited by EC experts who will carry out a site-visit for the re-certification of VFU with the HR excellence in Research human resources logo for the next period. This visit is based on the preliminary positive assessment received for compliance of all documentation that was developed and submitted to the Directorate-General's Research and Innovation at the EC - a self-assessment report of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" for the period of ownership of the HR logo and the developed electronic university profile based on the EURAXESS network.The ownership of the logo has helped to promote the image of VFU as a university that is up to the new challenges. Varna Free University has joined the network of like-minded European organizations that have accepted the principles of the Charter and the Code. This has provided an opportunity for exchange of experience and sharing of good practices, and has placed VFU among the European universities which not only offer but also guarantee good working conditions for researchers from all over the world.
