VFU “CHERNORIZETS HRABAR” WITH A 21-YEAR UNINTERRUPTED CYCLE OF CERTIFICATION OF THE QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

The quality management system of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" was recertified for the seventh time in a row by the International Certification Organization BUREAU VERITAS Certification in accordance with the international standard ISO 9001:2015 and received a certificate with accreditation from UKAS (Great Britain) for a period of 3 years - until 2025.
The quality management system of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" proves the sustainable development of the organization. There is no other higher education institution in Bulgaria that has a 21-year uninterrupted cycle of certification.
The certification organization of the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system of Varna Free University is BUREAU VERITAS – a company with 200 years of history, tradition, continuity and stability.
“VFU “Chernorizets Hrabar” is one of the few Bulgarian universities with traditions in the certification of its management system,” said Stanimir Smilkov - manager of BUREAU VERITAS - Bulgaria. According to him, the introduction of the quality management system provides transparency, reliability, opportunities for flexible management of processes in the organization, commitment of resources, risk minimization. “Students' satisfaction is a particular focus for the management system - this includes the quality of education and the opportunities for subsequent professional realization,” comments Stanimir Smilkov. He added that the audit teams inspecting Varna Free University are impressed by the commitment and motivation of the university's team.
The goals that VFU “Chernorizets Hrabar” sets for itself with the implementation of ISO 9001:2015 are related to:
