VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR" WILL OPEN THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2021/2022 ON 27 SEPTEMBER 2021
The opening ceremony of the academic year 2021/2022 will be held on 27 September 2021 (Monday), at 10.00 am in the East Park of the university. This year, Varna Free University celebrates 30 years since its establishment.
The opening ceremony day will begin with a greeting from the academic leadership of the university. Traditionally, water consecration for the health, success and prosperity of the academic family will be held. Students admitted with the highest marks will be honoured. The Academic Dance Theatre of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" has prepared a special festive programme.
The first-year students will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the university and the lecturers during the introductory days - 27 and 28 September, which will be held by faculties and departments.
The celebrations to mark the 30th anniversary of the university will continue on 4 October 2021, when the world-famous musician Teodosiy Spasov will be awarded the title of Doctor Honoris Causa of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar".
The festive anniversary passes under the motto "Learn and Seek" - words of the brave Bulgarian clergyman Chernorizets Hrabar - patron of our university. May the legacy of the brave awakener resound in the heart of every student!
The events will be held in compliance with all anti-epidemic measures. Wearing masks in the university building is mandatory.
