Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" welcomed 50 school students from Italy, Spain, Poland and Bulgaria. The guests are in Varna at the invitation of Geo Milev Secondary School Varna - a partner of the university. The international group is working on the project "ACTIVE - Active, Critical Thinking, Integrated, Volunteering, Engaged", under the Erasmus + programme.
The project focuses on knowledge of human rights, critical thinking, creativity, opportunities for self-study, safe and intelligent use of the Internet and digital technologies.
During their visit to Varna Free University, the guests were welcomed by Prof. Dr. Galina Shamonina - Secretary General of the University.
The students visited the University Library, the Institute of Technology and the Department of Computer Science, the Center for Admission, the specialized forensics classrooms and the training courtroom, where they attended a lecture delivered by Tansu Osman, a student in Law.
At the university's training radio and television studio, they prepared a video and podcast on "How important it is to be well educated in order to be media literate."
