The doctoral student Rositsa Röntynen from the Department of Administration and Management at Varna Free University participated in the Seventh edition of the International Conference on Tourism Research, which took place in Cape Town, South Africa. She presented a report on the aspects of the ecosystem approach in the management of tourist destinations.
The international conference is in the elite of scientific research in the field of tourism, attracting participants from all over the world – from students and young researchers to professors with globally recognized scientific contributions.
The next annual conference will be held in 2025 in Finland.
Rositsa Röntynen has experience as a lecturer on topics related to nature-based tourism, the approach to cultural tourism, as well as in project training in "Factory of the Future". She also coordinates and plans the online training "Stairways to Responsible Tourism." Ms. Röntunen has graduated from the University of Applied Sciences in Jyväskylä, Finland.
