VFU “CHERNORIZETS HRABAR” PARTICIPATED IN THE CELEBRATION FOR THE DEFENDER OF THE FATHERLAND DAY

The management of Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar” participated in the ceremony on the occasion of the Defender of the Fatherland Day (23 February), organized by the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Varna.
Assoc. Prof. Krasimir Nedyalkov, PhD - President of VFU “Chernorizets Hrabar” and Prof. Galina Shamonina, PhD - Secretary General of the University and Head of the Russian Centre, laid flowers to the monument of the fallen Russian soldiers and the memorial ossuary of the fallen Homeland Bulgarian officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers who died for the country during the Wars of 1912-1913, 1915-1918.
His Excellency Vladimir Klimanov - Consul General of the Russian Federation thanked the veterans present. The ceremony in the Old Varna Cemeteries was attended by the Regional Governor of Varna Region Stoyan Pasev, the Deputy Mayor of Varna Kosta Bazitov, the Regional Mayors of the seaside capital, representatives of public organizations, cultural and educational institutions and Varna citizens.
