VFU “CHERNORIZETS HRABAR” ORGANISES A QUALIFICATION SEMINAR ON MODERN PEDAGOGICAL TECHNOLOGIES FOR FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHERS

The Department for Foreign Language Teaching and Postgraduate Qualification of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" organises a qualification seminar for teachers of foreign languages on the topic "Modern Pedagogical Technologies in Foreign Language Teaching". The event will be opened on 8 July 2024, at 10:30 am in the University's Sports Complex. More than 50 lecturers from higher education institutions, school head teachers, teachers and experts from the Regional Directorates of Education from Varna, Sofia, Plovdiv, Burgas, Pleven, Stara Zagora, Nesebar, Razgrad, Vidin, Karnobat, Smolyan and Simitli will take part in it. The foreign participants are from Namagan, Uzbekistan and Konya, Turkey.
The aim of the seminar is to provide a platform for the exchange of good practices and innovations to improve the professional competences of Bulgarian teachers of Russian and English in view of modern educational trends.
Lecturers at the event will be Prof. Galina Shamonina, PhD from Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", Prof. Ekaterina Sofronieva, PhD and Prof. Tatyana Alexieva, PhD from Sofia University "St Kliment Ohridski", Prof. Nadia Cherneva, PhD from Plovdiv University "Paisiy Hilendarski", Maria Barganova - chief expert, directorate "Content of preschool and school education", Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Bulgaria.
The participation of the foreign language teachers is supported by the Bulgarian National Network of Teachers of Russian Language and Culture and the Bulgarian Association for Quality Language Services "Optima".
