Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" invites high school students to a course in personal finance, which will be taught by the lecturer and one of the well-known Bulgarian financiers - Prof. Daniela Bobeva, PhD.
The course is 30 classes long and will be online, its beginning coincides with the mid-term school vacation - 1, 2, 3, 8, 9 and 10 February 2022 from 8.45 to 12.50. The students will have the opportunity to take part, ask questions and communicate with both the lecturer and students from VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar".
The course is initiated by the Faculty of International Economics and Administration and aims to acquaint participants with the basic principles of personal finance management, the risks and benefits of using financial services and developing skills in financial management. The aim is to acquire knowledge how to be made sound financial decisions, to be achieved maximum financial effect and effective risk management.
Prof. Daniela Bobeva, PhD is a lecturer at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" and an international financial expert with over 20 years of experience. She was Deputy Prime Minister of Bulgaria in the period 2013-2014 and Minister of Trade (1997). For 11 years she has been the Director of the European and International Directorate at the BNB. She manages projects for introduction of European principles and good practices in the banking system of Egypt, Montenegro, Serbia, Albania, Macedonia. She was a Chairperson of the Foreign Investment Agency (1995-1996).
