VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" and Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" Offer Postgraduate Professional Qualification in Early Language Learning

Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" in partnership with Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" offers a postgraduate professional qualification in early language learning in English. Those who have successfully completed the one-year course will be awarded the Certificate of Professional Qualification from the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski".

The training within the course offers a balance between theoretical and practical training. The programme includes subjects such as methodology of language learning, linguistic features of early language learning, children's literature in English, competence approach in language learning and innovations in education. The practical aspects of the training are aimed at developing skills for effective management of the learning process and foreign language interaction with children.

The training is offered in part-time mode, with the main emphasis on classes in an electronic environment, which allows for flexibility and compatibility with the work schedule of the participants. The duration of the course is one year.

Applicants must have graduated from pedagogical specialties and specialties with teaching qualifications - bachelors, masters, specialists (teachers), or a specialty from the professional field of Psychology with the professional qualification "psychologist" awarded, and be proficient in English at the B1 level. After successful completion of the course, participants sit take a state exam - written and oral one. Successful passing of these exams will lead to the acquisition of a professional qualification as a teacher of early language learning - English.

Through this course, Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" and Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" aim to support the development of modern education in Bulgaria and to prepare teachers who can meet the requirements of the new age.
