VARNA FREE UNIVERSITY WILL SUPPORT WITH RESOURCES OVER 300 SCHOOLS IN BULGARIA

Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar” launches virtual free courses today aimed at students and teachers as well as parents. The topics will support the learning process and contribute to students' vocational guidance and civic education.
The topics are 20 and sent to more than 300 schools using the Google G-Suite education platform, as well as to regional education departments. There was a strong interest in the courses as soon as they were announced.
Among the leading topics included in the Virtual Free Courses are those prepared by the Department of Computer Science - IT Careers and Computer Modeling - in panels for both teachers and students and parents. The QUERYADA course aims to prepare students for the data and knowledge mining competition (queryada.vfu.bg). The Department of Psychology has created a course on aggression in the schools aimed at students and teachers. The Faculty of International Economics and Administration will prepare students for how to manage their personal finance and will also introduce them to the forms of mediation in the digital environment.
One of the topics of greatest interest is Profiling - a joint project of the departments of National Security, Psychology and Law at Varna Free University. The interest of the teenagers in digital forensics and intelligent security systems will provoke leading experts at VFU “Chernorizets Hrabar”. They will support the career guidance of the future lawyers and criminologists.
What is the secret of parametric design and the specifics of the software for architects will be revealed by the Faculty of Architecture. Political science educators will teach students how to unravel the links between power and cinema.
Especially for candidate students are the courses taught by the university lecturers for the compulsory elements of the essay, as well as for the application with English.
The meetings are virtual in Google Hangout Meet at meet.google.com/xef-hxdi-ikz, from 4pm to 5:30 pm April 7-9.
