Varna Free University will host a scientific and methodological seminar dedicated to artificial intelligence and foreign language teaching

The Department of Foreign Language Teaching and Postgraduate Qualification| at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" and the Plovdiv University "Paisiy Hilendarski” organize a scientific and methodological seminar on the topic 'Artificial Intelligence and New Technological Horizons of Foreign Language Teaching' on July 5th and 6th, 2025 at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar".
The seminar aims at bringing together teachers, researchers and doctoral students who are interested in the application of modern technologies, including artificial intelligence, in foreign language teaching. The thematic scope includes:
► digital tools in language teaching and assessment;
► transformations in the role of the teacher;
► ethical issues in the use of technologies in education;
► innovative practices in teaching methodology.
The two-day format includes plenary reports, practical workshops, as well as working sessions for the exchange of good practices. Participants will have the opportunity to present their developments, research and innovative ideas related to technologies in language learning.
The seminar will be held in a hybrid format - with in-person participation on the territory of Varna Free University and with the possibility of online participation.
All participants will receive a Certificate with credits in accordance with Regulation No. 15 of 22.07.2019 on the status and professional development of teachers, principals and other pedagogical specialists.
