Varna Free University proudly awards diplomas to 421 graduates from Class of 2024

Today, Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" was full of excitement, smiles and pride. The festive atmosphere was filled with joy from the success of the 421 graduating students from the spring and summer sessions of Class of 2024 who successfully passed the challenges of the academic development. They were awarded their diplomas in the presence of their relatives, teachers and guests.
The ceremony, which took place in the Maxima Hall of the university, was attended by official guests, including Prof. Dr. Miglena Temelkova – Chairperson of the Council of Rectors; Airie Ibryamova - deputy regional governor of the district with administrative center Varna; Kristiana Stoyanova - chief expert in Education and Youth Activities Directorate at the Municipality of Varna; Capt.(N) Professor PhD Miroslav Cvetkov - Head of Department at Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy; prof. Dr. Todorka Kostadinova - Director of the Accreditation, Quality and Project Activity Directorate at the Medical University - Varna; business representatives, university partners, branch boards and institutions.
The president of Varna Free University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Krasimir Nedyalkov, congratulated the graduates, their families and the academic staff of the university. In his inspiring speech, he emphasized the importance of education and personal development: “Today, together with you, we all look at the light of knowledge and science to ensure a better society and future for our parents and children. Dreams do work, but only if we work for them. I wish you to achieve success that will make us, your teachers, proud and happy, and the economy and society - prosperous and thriving. The world right now needs hardworking and successful people the most. We need people who will make our homeland worthy, for Schengen to apply for admission to it, not the other way around. Bulgaria badly needs names that remind the world that being Bulgarian is an honor, recognition and title. When you go forward, try not to fall between the notorious "red dividing lines". Stand up for yourself, respecting the opinions of others. Give a hand to your opponents. True power and authority can only be born in true and free competition. Climbing the peaks of life, stop after each big step, look back and look up, treat yourself to something good, for the efforts made, this will give you confidence and self-confidence on the difficult path to the top. If you accept this, it means you build an identity. Identity is something you always have to fight for! “
The rector of VFU " Chernorizets Hrabar", Prof. Dr. Petar Hristov, presented the diplomas to the top of the class students of Class 2024, who were praised for their academic excellence and efforts during their studies. Prof. Hristov addressed the graduates with the words: "Don't be afraid to ask questions, because through them the truth is born. Learn and search".
Hristina Sabeva, a law graduate, who graduated with honors, also gave a speech. Hristina, was awarded for her third academic degree. In her speech, she thanked her lecturers and relatives for their support over the years; "Endless reading, long exam sessions, waiting for the unexpected case studies are over today. Our work and self-sacrifice have paid off, but let us not forget that matter in every area of human knowledge is unlimited. This implies and obliges continuous reading and improvement. I wish you the courage to make your dreams come true and to be fortunate enough so that it happens at the right moment for you," said Hristina. A special guest at the ceremony was her 11-year-old daughter.
