The Head of the Department of Informatics and of the Master's degree pogramme in Cybersecurity - Assoc. Prof. Dr. Galina Momcheva talks about what the requirements for the future staff in the field are, what skills and knowledge they need in order to be successful, what are the challenges and the most frequent errors made in their career path.
By 2021, 100% of the large companies will have a manager in information security, but it is projected that the firms will continue to experience a strong shortage of skilled personnel and vacancies in the field will be around 3.5 million.
