13 February 2023

Three graduates from Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" chose the District Court - Varna to complete their mandatory six-month internship. Tansu Sinan, Nicoleta Yovcheva and Ioana Radeva successfully graduated from the "Law" major. They will do their internship together with graduates from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" and the Veliko Tarnovo University "St. St. Cyril and Methodius".

Tansu Sinan is included in the list of specialists appointed as court interpreters of the Varna District Court. She translates from and into German, English and business English. In May last year, after a competition, Tansu was elected as a legislative assistant of the National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria. For her, studying law at VFU "Chernorizec Hrabar" is another higher education, after the bachelor's degree in "Business Administration" with a specialization in "Tax Law" at the famous University of Cologne and the master's degree in Strategic Management and Business Consulting at the International Business School. Tansu is a licensed insurance broker with the Cologne Chamber of Industry. She was the organizer and speaker of the International Business Congress for Students in 2016 at Organisationsforum Wirtschaftskongress - World Business Dialogue. She speaks three languages - English and German at the highest level (Goethe Zertifikat, Cambridge Certificate) and French at B1 level.

The chairperson of the Varna District Court officially handed over to each of the interns the acts of admission and their intern books. He thanked them for choosing his court to complete their professional training before starting work. He advised them to be responsible to themselves first, as it depends on their efforts whether they will be able to gather enough knowledge and impressions, on the basis of which they can decide what exactly they will do in the legal field. Judge Marinov said that by June, many cases will have been completed in the court and this will be a wonderful period for them, during which they can learn a lot from their mentor judges.

The internship is the last step in the training of legal trainees before they acquire their legal capacity.

For 6 months, they will have time to familiarize themselves with the judicial system. The first two months, during the general internship, they will accumulate knowledge about the activities and functions of the court, the prosecutor's office, investigation, the bar and notary. The other four months will be a specialized internship in the bodies of the judiciary.
