Varna Free University provides two full scholarships for students from the municipality of Rudozem, announced during the official opening of the town feast Assoc. Prof. Krasimir Nedyalkov, PhD - President of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar". The scholarships are awarded for the entire period of study and are on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the founding of the university.
The Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", Prof. Anna Nedyalkova, D.Sc. and Assoc. Prof. Krasimir Nedyalkov, PhD were official guests at the celebration of the Municipality of Rudozem. In his greeting, Assoc. Prof. Nedyalkov praised the partnership between the university and the Municipality of Rudozem for raising the prestige of the university and wished health and prosperity to the region. "In 2021, Varna Free University celebrates 30 years since its founding under the motto "Study and Seek!" - the words of the brave Bulgarian clergyman Chernorizets Hrabar - patron of our university. The testament of the brave enlightener echoes in the Rhodopes, where talented, diligent and persistent young people study, seek and receive knowledge and education at our university and proudly call it their Alma Mater! Let us together carry through the centuries the wisdom, patriotism and strength of the Bulgarian spirit preserved in the Rhodopes! ", said the President of VFU in his welcoming words.
The mayor of Rudozem, Rumen Pehlivanov said that the scholarships will be awarded to the candidate students who have achieved the highest GPA during their studies at school. And that to the two scholarships he, in his personal capacity, adds another one, Otzvuk newspaper writes.
The scholarship holders will study at the Smolyan Branch of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar".
