The Vice-President of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" attended a solemn reception to mark the national holiday of Turkey

The Vice President of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", Mr. Yani Yanev, was among the guests at the reception organized by the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Burgas, Mr. Tolga Orkun. The event was in honor of the national holiday of the Republic of Turkey and the 101st anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey. The presence of Mr. Yanev confirmed the importance of the long-standing and fruitful relations between VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" and many higher education institutions in Turkey.
On behalf of the president of the university, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Krasimir Nedyalkov, Mr. Yanev presented an honorary plaque and a congratulatory address. It emphasizes the importance of already established partnerships of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" with 17 public and private Turkish universities, which enrich the academic exchange and strengthen cooperation in the field of education and science between Bulgaria and Turkey.
During the event, Yani Yanev held a number of meetings with representatives of the local government and the academic community. He also met with the regional governor of Burgas, Prof. D. Sc. Maria Neykova, the mayor of Tutrakan Dr. Dimitar Stefanov, the rector of Burgas Free University Prof. Milen Baltov and the honorary consul of Estonia in Burgas, Petko Rusinov. These meetings provided an opportunity to discuss future projects and initiatives that will strengthen educational and cultural exchange in the Black Sea region.
