THE RECTOR OF VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABER" MET THE MANAGEMENT OF THE NATIONAL TRADE UNIONS AND WORKER COOPERATIVES

The Rector of Varna Free University Prof. Dr. Petar Hristov met the management of the National Trade Unions and Worker Cooperatives. The meeting was attended by Bozhidar Stanchev - Chairperson of the Union, Assoc. Prof. D. Sc. Vladislav Lazarov - deputy chairperson, Yovka Gaikova - chairperson of the Varna branch of the organization.
Prof. Hristov told them about the programmes and projects VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" is involved with. The Dean of the Faculty of International Economics and Administration, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eleonora Tankova, paid special attention to the master's degree programme in Entrepreneurship, which was developed in partnership with the Bulgarian Center for Entrepreneurship, the Interculture Foundation, experts and mentors from the Silicon Valley in the USA and put an emphasis on social entrepreneurship. Assoc. Prof. Tankova presented the university's projects for the development of women's entrepreneurship.
Bozhidar Stanchev introduced the attendees to the growing popularity of cooperatives at the EU level, where the topic is discussed on a par with digitalization and the "Green Deal", which places it at a high level and creates prerequisites for its serious development in the future.
The possibilities of cooperation and joint work with VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" were discussed.
