The Rector of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" Prof. Dr. Petar Hristov welcomed the organizers and participants in the Second International Congress of Child and Adolescent Psychology, organized by Rumeli University in Turkey. Varna Free University is a partner for Bulgaria of the leading Turkish university.
The congress is dedicated to various aspects of child psychology - from illness to migration challenges and the risk to children. During the event, which takes place online, a wide range of issues will be discussed, covering both traditional and familiar issues, as well as those that have arisen in our time.
"I am convinced that the fruitful cooperation between Rumeli University and Varna Free University will continue in the spirit of academicism, professionalism and friendship. I wish the participants interesting discussions, useful scientific contacts, future success and creative achievements!", said Prof. Hristov in his greeting.
The scientific event is attended by scientists from different countries, and the representatives of the departments of psychology from over 15 leading Bulgarian universities. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Miglena Krasteva and Prof. Rumen Stamatov - lecturers at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", have major lectures on the topics of the International Congress. They will analyze issues related to the experience of losing a loved one and existential fears in preschool children, as well as moral understandings and emotions in 5-7-year-olds.
