The euro is the collective currency of the European Union and the second most important currency in the world. Its use has indisputable advantages related to travel, trade and the elimination of currency risk.
What impact will the euro have on Bulgaria's economy? How will this affect the small consumer basket of each of us? Will prices go up? Will the quality of life change?
Prof. Daniela Bobeva will answer these as well as many other questions on February 25 in an online classroom of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar".
Daniela Bobeva is a professor and lecturer in international economics and finance. She has been teaching at Varna Free University for two years. Her professional experience is mostly in the banking and financial sector - she was a director at the BNB for 12 years. She was Vice President of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank. She has also worked as a consultant for the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development - OECD, Paris. In 1997 he was appointed Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Cooperation in the Caretaker Government and Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Development in the period 2013-2014.
She has over 140 publications, most of them on Economic and Monetary Union, the Euro zone, convergence and the adoption of the euro.
