THE NEW ISSUE OF THE AUTHORITATIVE ARCHITECTURE MAGAZINE TELLS ABOUT THE MASTER'S DEGREE PROGRAMME IN PRESERVATION OF CULTURAL HERITAGE

The new issue of the only scientific journal in the field of architecture in Bulgaria – Architecture magazine tells about the training in the master's degree programme in Preservation of Cultural Heritage at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar".
In the publication, the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and a leading lecturer in the master's degree programme, Assoc. Prof. Arch. Zhechka Ilieva, PhD presents the training, the lecturers, the practical classes, the projects and the partnership under the programme.
"Many architects who received their education in various universities in Bulgaria and abroad joined the specialization in Preservation of Cultural Heritage at VFU" Chernorizets Hrabar ". Among them are chief architects and engineers who realized the need to deepen their knowledge. The master's degree programme in Preservation of Cultural Heritage continues to be open not only to architects, but also to all specialists in the field of construction and landscape architecture after completing a master's degree," told the publication of the Union of Architects in Bulgaria for architectural creativity, architectural theory and critique.
The master's degree programme works in partnership with the Municipalities of Varna and Veliko Tarnovo. Regarding the preservation of the architectural archeological heritage we work in partnership with the regional museums of Varna, Dobrich, Veliko Tarnovo, Svishtov and others. The programme conducts field tours and studies of sites of cultural value.
