The Municipality of Varna awarded students of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar"

The Municipality of Varna awarded students of Varna Free University for their active participation in an information campaign in senior citizens’ clubs against telephone fraud. The Deputy Mayor Todor Ivanov presented certificates of achievement to Mihaela Milcheva, Aleksandra Vasileva, Edzhe Emilova, Doroteya Nikolaeva, Sali Lyubenov, Kiril Hristoskov and Aleksander Ivanov, majoring in National Security Protection, Psychology and Architecture.
The campaign is a joint initiative of the students, the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior - Varna and the Municipality of Varna. During meetings in senior citizens’ clubs organized with the help of district administrations, students explained to elderly people the schemes applied by frauds and the ways in which they should respond.
"Thank you for the initiative and the willingness to help pensioners. You will always have our support in organizing events related to the counteraction of such crimes," Todor Ivanov said.
