THE MUNICIPALITY OF KASPICHAN IS INCLUDED IN THE PARTNERSHIP NETWORK OF THE MASTER’S DEGREE PROGRAMME CIRCULAR ECONOMY

In a letter to the president of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" Prof. DSc. Anna Nedyalkova, the mayor of Kaspichan municipality Milena Nedeva emphasizes the importance of the "Circular Economy" and informs the academic management that an environmental expert in the municipal administration is interested in the Master's degree programme.

The letter comes as a result from the Forum "Circular Economy - Priority of the Next EU Programming Period" held on August 24th, organized together with the Regional Governor of Varna region Mr. Stoyan Pasev and supported by the Directorate-General for Environment is the European Commission and the Ministry of the Environment and Water of the Republic of Bulgaria. The event marked the beginning of the unique for Bulgaria Master's degree programme "Circular Economy".

"Kaspichan municipality will also ensure participation of suitable experts as lecturers in the programme and will provide assistance at a later stage, giving suggestions for work placements and internships in companies located on the territory of the municipality", is said in the mayor's letter.

Another positive result from the forum is the invitation to Varna Free University to take part in the Board of Directors of the European Public Law Organization (EPLO), responsible for the creation and dissemination of knowledge in the field of public law and management, including the circular economy.

 
 
Dear Mrs. Nedyalkova,
In connection with your letter from August 30th 2018, the forum "Circular Economy - Priority of the Next EU Programming Period" and aiming at improving the capacity of Kaspichan municipality, regarding assimilation of resources of the next programming period of the EU, we would like to inform you that an expert from our municipality is interested in the Master’s degree programme Circular Economy.
The expert is engineer Ekaterina Ivanova Krumova, a junior expert in Environment and she would apply for the programme in the time fixed.
For us, it is essential that the waste is properly managed and that the amount of recoverable waste by both the households and manufacturing companies is increased.  
In order to find suitable experts as lecturers, please let us know the specific topics provided in the programme. Kaspichan municipality will provide assistance and, in the next stage, will make some suggestions for work placements and internships in companies located on the territory of the municipality.
