Students from the Master's degree programme in Financial and Bank Management and Marketing at Varna Free University started their studies in the "cloud", said the programme manager Assoc. Prof. Dr. Virginia Ivanova. "Master's students have successfully tackled the challenge of working and learning in a digital environment. For three weeks, they have been in virtual classrooms, making presentations, doing course assignments, using case studies. They all express their satisfaction that the university has created a suitable learning environment and continue with their studies regardless of the current situation in the country and the world. Prof. Ivanova.A discussion on the relationship between innovation in banking and bank marketing has aroused particular interest in training. Innovations and examples from major commercial banks in Bulgaria such as UniCredit Bulbank, DSK Bank, United Bulgarian Bank, etc. were discussed. The students analyzed the developments in their digital platforms, provoked by the crisis, as well as the offered products and services, which influence the marketing policy of the respective banks and develop competitive advantages.

Due to the civil emergency in the country, we had to switch to online training in the Google G Suite platform.
