THE MAGIC OF DANCE CАME TO LIFE IN THE ANNUAL CONCERT OF THE SPECIALTY "CHOREOGRAPHY"

The graduates from "Choreography" made magic on the stage of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar". In the annual concert of the specialty "Dance scene of fairy", the graduates turned forgotten stories, traditions and customs into a dance. The boys and girls recreated folklore by putting their hearts and souls in it. "Pomak Wedding Games from Teteven Region", choreographed by Evgeni Chakarov, the magic of fire dancers "Fire on the Square", choreographed by Simona Vasileva and the forgotten dance "Dance, Lado, let's Dance" by Valentin Mihaylov came to life on the stage. The directors of studies of the graduates are Assoc. Prof. Dr. Katya Kayryakova and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Maria Kardzhieva, the direction and script by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ivaylo Ivanov.
The concert "Dance scene of fairy" took place in partnership with the students from the National High School of Humanities and Arts “Konstantin Preslavski - Varna. 52 students studying to become dancers in the specialties "Bulgarian Dances" and "Modern Dances" in the National High School of Humanities and Arts presented dances on the stage. During the last month they did their practice at the university, preparing the dances "Sinking” choreographed by Joanna Angelova, "Accent", choreographed by Stella Filipova and "Target" choreographed by Valeria Obretenova. The young teachers also graduated from "Choreography" at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar".
During the event, the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture - Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rositsa Slipets, presented the diplomas to the graduates from the bachelor's and master's degree programmes in the professional field "Music and Dance".
