The Faculty of International Economics and Administration and the master's degree programme in Advertising and Public Relations in Business Management at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" initiate the creation of a permanent forum entitled The Art of Communication, led by Assoc. Prof. Georgi Kalaglarski, PhD.
Leading Bulgarian lecturers and practitioners in the field of PR, advertising, branding, public and creative communication, event management, sponsorship, etc. will be guests in a series of thematic meetings in the virtual auditoriums of the university. The courses will be open to students of all specialties of the university, as well as to practitioners and experts in the field of communications in various industries, state and municipal administration, tourism, education, NGOs, business, political organizations and others.
The initiative will be opened on 19 February with a lecture and demonstrations by the prominent Bulgarian lecturer and practitioner in the field of advertising and marketing communications Prof. Hristo Kaftandzhiev, D.Sc. On 22 February, Assoc. Prof. Lora Mutisheva, PhD - lecturer at NATFA and an actress will present the intricacies of verbal and nonverbal communication. In March, Assoc. Prof. Stefan Serezliev, PhD will reveal the secrets of creating a successful brand and its management.
April and May are dedicated to persuasive communication - how to achieve the desired goals in public communication; the role of social flirtation; how to be noticed and liked; social networks - stylistics of behaviour and highlighting the individuality. In the summer we will talk about the style and culture of clothing, hairstyle and makeup. September and October are dedicated to business and diplomatic protocol, and in the last months of the year we will analyse the building of personal and corporate image.
The aim of the Faculty of International Economics and Administration is to enrich and develop the community of professionals who have found their professional path in the field of communications over the past 30 years, who can upgrade their knowledge and competencies, both in the forum Art of Communication and in the master's dgree programme in Advertising and Public Relations in Business Management.

DIGITAL ADVERTISING AND MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS

Prof. Kaftandjiev's course in Digital Advertising and Marketing Communications aims to provide knowledge and skills about the most important characteristics of digital marketing communications and transmedia in traditional media and social networks. The lectures are based on the latest and best examples from global advertising and digital marketing communications.

Information about the lecturer:
Prof. Hristo Kaftandzhiev, D.Sc. is a Doctor of Philology, Professor at the Department of Public Relations and Advertising at the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communications at Sofia University.
He has specialised in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Ireland and Russia. He has taught semiotics and advertising in Finland. He has taught advertising and marketing communications courses in more than 30 European and Asian countries. He has been a speaker at the World Congresses of the International Advertising Association in Mexico, Egypt and Lebanon. He has also participated in two world congresses on semiotics - in Mexico and in Germany.
He is the author of many scientific papers on advertising and semiotics. He has published eight books, which have several editions in Bulgaria. His books - "The Texts in Print Advertising", "Harmony in Advertising Communication", "Absolut Semiotics", "The Image of Women in Advertising", "Sex and Violence in Advertising" and "Heroes and Beauties in Advertising" have been published abroad.
Prof. Kaftandzhiev was a member of the jury of The New York Festivals and the Digital Communication Awards, Germany.
He is also an honorary professor at the Russian-American Academy of Authorised Education. He is now a member of the jury of Superbrands, Bulgaria. He is the editor-in-chief of "American Journal of Linguistics", a member of the boards of the scientific journals "Advances in Sociology", "American Journal of Applied Psychology", "Journal of Social Sciences Studies" and "Open Journal of Art and Communication".

Information about the lecturer:
Assoc. Prof. Lora Mutisheva, PhD is a lecturer at NATFA "Krastyu Sarafov" in speech technique, orthoepy, stage speech, public speech, verbal action. She graduated in Acting for Drama Theatre in 2005 in the class of Prof. Plamen Markov. She has a master's degree in Marketing from the Institute of Economics at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. In 2015 she obtained the educational and scientific degree "Doctor of Theatre Studies and Theatre Arts, and since 2020 she has been an associate professor at the National Academy of Theatre and Film Arts "Krastyu Sarafov".
She is the author of scientific papers, publications and the book "Verbal Action in Action". He leads master classes in the field of public and stage speech.
Lora Mutisheva is an actress at the Sofia Theatre; she has played dozens of roles in productions of classical and contemporary playwrights.

Assoc. Prof. Stefan Serezliev, PhD has worked in the field of professional practice and higher education in visual arts; management of organizational and personal brands in the cultural and creative industries; graphic design and visual communications; creative process in integrated brand and marketing communications (PR, advertising, event management, sponsorship, etc.); visual rhetoric and visual semiotics for more than 25 years.
In recent years, the focus of his academic research and practical professional projects is on the creation, construction and management of organizational and personal creative brands in various arts and their borderline multidisciplinary fields.
He is a member of the international editorial board of the electronic scientific journal "Media of the 21st Century" (newmedia21). He is also a member of the Board and co-founder of the Institute of Rhetoric and Communications and member of the editorial board of the electronic scientific journal "Rhetoric and Communications". Rector of the Luben Groys Theatre College.
