THE CRIMINOLOGY CLUB STIRRED EVERYONE’S ENTHUSIASM FOR SCIENCE

The Criminology Club at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" was a guest at the science area of Varna Airport during the weekend.
Our students, led by the Dean of the Faculty of Law Prof. D.Sc. Yonko Kunchev, revealed the fascinating secrets of criminology and stirred everyone's love of science. On the Day of the Bulgarian Constitution, they made demonstrations to find and take fingerprints, showed how to record a facial composite of a person based on his appearance and how to do forensic microscopic research.
The demonstrations attracted young and old fans of forensics, some of them came specifically to meet the members of the Club. Our students explained why good legal education is important, and the university's master's and doctoral programmes provoked the interest of the parents.
Especially for the event, the youngest member of the Criminology Club - Eleonora Ekimova - a ninth-year school student at Otets Paisiy High School arrived from Gabrovo. Eleanor's dream is to work in the field of criminology. "The best training for the realization of my dream is at Varna Free University," said Eleonora, who already knows where she will continue her education.

The event was attended by students and teachers. A special guest was the Vice-Rector of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" Prof. D.Sc. Dimitar Kanev.
