THE COURSE FOR LEADERS OF AUTHENTIC FOLKLORE AT VARNA FREE UNIVERSITY ATTRACTS PARTICIPANTS FROM ALL OVER THE COUNTRY

The course for leaders of authentic folklore ensembles is held at Varna Free University. This year, 22 participants from different parts of the country took part in it, including Stara Zagora, Ruse, Kazanlak, Botevgrad, Montana, Momchilgrad, Dulovo, Omurtag, Rudozem, Yablanitsa, Pravets, Tetovo, Radnevo, Chirpan and Smyadovo. "Their enthusiasm and desire to improve are an inspiration to all of us", share the teachers of Choreography at the university, who with their expertise and experience contribute to the high level of the educational process. The course is led by Prof. Maria Kardzhieva, Prof. Katya Kairyakova, Assoc.Prof. Ivaylo Ivanov and Assist.Prof. Dilyan Galev. The academic supervisor of the course is Prof. Maria Kardzhieva.
The course for ensemble leaders for authentic folklore has been held since 2011. Over the years, nearly 200 participants were trained in it, and more than 20 of them continued their studies in the educational and qualification degree "bachelor" in the specialty Choreography and today they successfully lead their own teams.
