THE AUTUMN SESSION OF THE GRADUANDS FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF CONSTRUCTION OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES SUCCESSFULLY PASSED

At the beginning of the week in the Department of Construction of Buildings and Structures at the Faculty of Architecture of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" were held the defences of theses of students in the bachelor's degree specialties "Construction of Buildings and Structures" and "Fire Safety and Population Protection" and in the master's degree programmes "Building Structures", "Civil Engineering", "Water Supply and Sewerage" and "Fire and Emergency Safety of Buildings and Facilities". 15 bachelors and 21 masters successfully defended their theses and deservedly received the degrees of civil engineering and fire safety engineering.
With the proposed design solutions of building structures, water supply, sewerage and fire protection systems, the graduands demonstrated an engineering approach in thinking and implementing their ideas, knowledge and skills to solve specific practical problems in accordance with current regulations. The diploma examination committee assessed not only the qualities of the projects, but also the ability of the graduands to convincingly defend their works.
The results of the diploma session show that the graduands of the department are ready for the challenges in the competitive environment of the labour market, which is a prerequisite for good employment opportunities for the young civil engineers in various areas of the construction industry.
