THE ALUMNI OF VFU “CHERNORIZETS HRABAR” JOINED AS JUDGES IN THE PROVADIA REGIONAL COURT

The alumni of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" Polina Petrova and Petya Tsvetanova took an oath and assumed office as judges in the Provadia Regional Court. The official ceremony was part of the general meeting of the town's magistrates.
Polina Petrova graduated in Law from Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", and before that in International Economic Relations. She is a junior lawyer at the Bar Association - Varna, and in 2021 she won a competition for a judicial assistant in the District Court - Varna.
Petya Tsvetanova graduated in Law from Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar". She worked as a clerk and legal consultant. Last year, after winning a competition, she was appointed as a legal assistant in the District Court - Varna. She has undergone numerous additional qualifications.
Judge Petrova and Judge Tsvetanova are now members of the regional court, after an excellent performance and winning a competition. They will deal with civil disputes. The two swore to accurately apply the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Bulgaria, to fulfill their duties according to conscience and inner conviction, to be impartial, objective and just, to contribute to raising the prestige of the profession and to remember that they are responsible for everything before the law.
The President of the Regional Court - Provadia, Judge Galina Alexieva, said that she was extremely happy with their appointment, as the institution had been working with an incomplete staff for a long time, which made the normal work process difficult. Polina Petrova and Petya Tsvetanova were congratulated by the present judges from the Regional Court - Provadia, who shared that they will be happy to support their new colleagues and hope that with their help the court proceedings in the town will be faster.
The ceremony of assumption of office was attended by magistrates and part of the leadership of the District Court - Varna, in whose judicial region is the court in Provadia. They wished them much luck and satisfaction in their chosen professional path. "Remember and always be guided by the words of Celsus that justice is the art of the just and the good. Be good judges, be just!" was the wish of the chairman of the District Court - Varna, judge Marin Marinov, who honoured the event, reports the press service of Varna District Court.
Before winning the competition for regional judges, Polina Petrova and Petya Tsvetanova worked as legal assistants in the District Court - Varna.
