The Academic Dance Theater at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" presents the concert-performance "Step On, Step Up" in Dobrich.

The Academic Dance Theater at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" invites all lovers of Bulgarian folklore to the concert-performance "Step On, Step Up". The event will take place on January 31st at 6:00 p.m. in the 'Dobrich' Concert Hall.
The concert is a joint production with the Kapan Ensemble - Razgrad and presents the wealth of the Bulgarian wedding traditions through music, dance and visual art. The premiere of the performance took place in December 2024 in Razgrad and was met with exceptional interest. The 90-minute programme features over 60 talented singers, musicians and dancers, who present folklore subjects in a modern and captivating way.
The director of the performance is Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ivaylo Ivanov, who, with his expertise in dance art, transforms traditional customs into a dance stage performance. The Academic Dance Theater at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" actively participates in national and international cultural initiatives, proving itself as a key center for the development of performing and folklore arts.
