Polina Galinova - a student majoring in Psychology at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" won her 26th national title. Polly came first at the State Kickboxing Championship, which ended late last night in Plovdiv. She won the gold in the category up to 56 kg in the K1 heavy style.
"I have a short break ahead of me, and on 11 November I am leaving for Antalya, where I will compete for victory at the European Kickboxing Championship as part of the Bulgarian national team," said Polina Galinova. The leading competitor of Sports club SHUMENSKA KREPOST will compete in the category up to 56 kg in the Low Kick style.
Polina Galinova, who is a 4
th-year psychology student, won another national title in Plovdiv. She is a two-time world junior and cadet kickboxing champion. In December 2020, she became the Balkan vice-champion in the international kickboxing tournament "Balkan best fighters" in the Serbian city of Yagodina, and in March 2021 - she won her first national kickboxing championship. Last year, she won gold at the State Low Kick Kickboxing Championship up to 56 kilograms, which was held in Varna. Since 2016, she has been part of the Bulgarian national kickboxing team.
She is a competitor and athlete in Sports Club Shumenska Krepost, and her coach is her father - Galin Metodiev.
