Students from the Smolyan branch of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" studying in the master's degree programmes Tax and Customs Control and European Administration - Public Project Management, took part in an organized open learning within the frames of the programme of the Plovdiv International Fair.
Established experts from the practice delivered lectures and discussions, the aim of which was to identify the entrepreneurial attitudes and intentions of the students, necessary for them to successfully manage their own business, as well as to create a network of sustainable mechanisms for integrating knowledge into practice and successfully applying it in real work environment.
The event was opened by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anelia Parzhanova - Director of the Smolyan branch at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ivan Sokolov - lecturer at the Smolyan branch and Chief Director of the Plovdiv International Fair.
Th Director of the Plovdiv Territorial Department of the NRA - Venelin Naydenov was a special guest. He put an emphasis to the processes and trends in the work of the tax administration, presented good practices in the field of taxation.
Daniela Darakchieva - head of the Department of Internal Revenue Service at the Department Appeals and Tax-Insurance Practice - Plovdiv, presented to the students the specifics of taxation on the added value of sales of goods between Bulgarian companies and foreign counterparties, the various perspectives and possibilities and the application of measures which increase the level of tax obligations and prevent default by taxpayers.
Within the framework of the accompanying training programme Assist. Prof. Dr. Vasil Pavlov presented the mechanisms for successful institutional communication that lead to business development, increased profits, customer loyalty, return on investment and motivated employees.
