SPORTS FESTIVAL AT VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR"

Sports festival was held today at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar". It was organised by the Faculty of Law at Varna Free University on the occasion of the Bulgarian Sports Day – 17 May and on the eve of 24 May.
Karate demonstrations were held in the university park, one of which was personally led by the dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Yonko Kunchev, D.Sc. and basic kickboxing techniques were demonstrated by the students Polina Galinova - fourth-year student majoring in Psychology and Christian Yordanov - 1st – year student of National Security Protection. The two of them won 4 gold medals and placed our university in the TOP 3 of the championship organised by the Association for University Sports "Akademik" in Stara Zagora last week.
The relay games for balance, agility, accuracy and strength, the long-awaited tug-of-war and the badminton mini-championship were met with special interest.
The sports lecturerAnelia Sinabova presented the history of the creation of the Yunak society by the first physical education teachers who arrived in our country from Switzerland.
