SMOLYAN BRANCH OF VARNA FREE UNIVERSITY DID PRACTICAL WORK EXPERIENCE FOR STUDENTS IN MASTER'S DEGREE PROGRAMS "TAX AND CUSTOMS CONTROL" AND "CIRCULAR ECONOMY"

Students from the Master's degree programs "Tax and Customs Control" and "Circular Economy" from the Smolyan branch of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" did a practical work experience last week to become acquainted with the work of the customs and tax administration. They acquired key competences and used the acquired knowledge and skills "on-site".
The working program included a visit to the Territorial Directorate "Thracian" at the Customs Agency in Plovdiv and the introduction of the students to the management and activities of the Directorate. A lecture was delivered there and a presentation made by experts from the local Directorate.
The students visited the local Directorate of the National Revenue Agency in Bourgas, where they were introduced to the management and the activities. Later they also visited Malko Tarnovo border checkpoint.
Part of the training was related to the study of legal books in the field of customs and tax legislation.
