
Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" will traditionally welcome students from key Varna schools who participate in the editorial board of the newspaper "Nahodki" at the Municipal Children's Complex, Varna. The young reporters from the 'Youth Parliament - European Bridge' of the Complex will visit the university on March 21st this year, accompanied by Emilian Yalamov - journalist and organizer at the Municipal Children's Complex, Varna. They will get acquainted with the university and will participate in the Communications Workshop.
The event is hosted by the university's PR department, the Media Center and the Faculty of International Economics and Administration, which runs the master's programme in Advertising and Public Relations in Business Management.
In the training radio studio, students will have the opportunity to practice techniques for working in front of a microphone. The Head of the Media Center, Dr. Petar Pavlov, will introduce them to the history of the University Radio and Television Center, after which they will stand in front of the camera in the television studio of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar". There, Miloslava Georgieva, a public relations expert at Varna Free University, will explain how they should prepare for media participation - preliminary preparation, special messages and, last but not least, attention will be paid to body language and the role of clothing.
During the visit, the students will also visit the University Library, where they will get acquainted with the archive issues of the Varna Free University newspaper.
At the end of the Communications Workshop, each of the participants will be awarded a certificate of attendance.
