OVER 100 AMATEUR DANCERS ARRIVE AT VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR" FOR THE FOLKLORE DANCE WORKSHOP

Folklore dance workshop, organised by the Department of Arts, will be held at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" from 24 to 26 June 2022. It will be attended by over 100 representatives of various folk dance clubs from around the country.
For three days the lecturers in the major in Choreography, Assoc. Prof. Katya Kayryakova, PhD, Assoc. Prof. Ivaylo Ivanov, PhD and Mario Egov - Director of the Strandzha professional folklore ensemble will introduce the participants to traditional people from different ethnographic regions. The practical classes will be held in the Educational and Sports Complex of the University.
The amateur Bulgarian folklore dancers will transfer what they have learned to the clubs in the country. Most of the leaders of their ensembles are graduates of the major in Choreography at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar".
