OUR STUDENTS COMPLETED THEIR DISTANCE LEARNING INTERNSHIP AT THE MOSCOW UNIVERSITY FOR THE HUMANITIES AT THE RUSSIAN ACADEMY OF SCIENCES

          Two students from Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" successfully completed their one-month internship at the Moscow University for the Humanities. At the final meeting, they presented and defended their course projects. Victoria Boycheva and Valentin Markov are the first to do internships at the Moscow University for the Humanities after the cooperation agreement between the two universities has been signed. The Moscow University for the Humanities at the Russian Academy of Sciences combines the traditions of Russian science with modern requirements for achieving high results in higher education.
            The internship was online, in English, taught by prominent professors from the Moscow University for the Humanities - Prof. Tatiana Kuzmina and Prof. Vadim Podolski.
Valentin Markov’s course project focused on the topic "Foreign Policy after the Cold War", and the third-year student in "International Relations" Victoria Boycheva presented the topic "The South Stream Pipeline". They were congratulated by Prof. Tatiana Kuzmina on the good performance and accurate analyses. She expressed her satisfaction with the high level of the internship and the good preparation of the students from VFU.
            The meeting was also attended by the Vice-Rector for International Relations of the Moscow University for the Humanities - Mr. Vyacheslav Sutirin, who congratulated our students on the good performance and expressed his gratitude for the successful start of the cooperation between the two universities and his hopes that we will have many more joint projects.
            Victoria Boycheva and Valentin Markov were also congratulated by Prof. Dr. Galina Shamonina - Secretary General of the University. She thanked the teachers from the Moscow University for the Humanities and the head of the International Department - Mrs. Alisa Lobova. "This is the first exchange distance learning internship. The students from the Moscow University for the Humanities   - Diana Vecher, Natalia Ivanova and Taisiya Semyonova have already completed their course at our university. This successful start shows that we are ready to jointly implement new ideas, joint programs, mobility and internships," said Prof. G. Shamonina.
