OUR STUDENT IS A BULGARIAN KICKBOXING CHAMPION

Polina Galinova, a Psychology student at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", is the champion of Bulgaria in kickboxing.Polly became the undisputed winner in the category up to 56 kg at the state kickboxing championship held in Shumen. In the competition, which took place in compliance with all anti-epidemic measures, participated a record number of athletes - 356 from 56 clubs across the country.
In the final match, Polly won with 3: 0 referee votes.
In December 2020, she became the Balkan runner-up in the Balkan Best Fighters international kickboxing tournament in the Serbian town of Yagodina. She competes for Shumen Fortress Sports Club. Since 2016 she has been a part of the national kickboxing team of Bulgaria. Her coach is her father - Galin Metodiev.
Polly is a second-year student of Psychology. She chose to study in this specialty in order to better understand the behavior of her opponents in the ring.
