"LA MER" BECAME A FASHION EVENT FOR VARNA

A fashion event for Varna became "La Mer", which was the graduation show of the students majoring in "Fashion and Management in Fashion" at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar". Under the leadership of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kapka Manasieva, Head of the Art Department, the young designers made the beautiful clothing for the show, which took place last night at Rappongi Beach.
The students made 40 designs inspired by stripe, sea and vacation. The projects were in blue, white and red, and a special part of the review was devoted to accessories.
"It was interesting to see how 40 different ideas for clothes were born under the same theme," said Dessislava Veselinova, a third-year student who works as a designer. "The best part is that we take part in the whole process of creating the clothing - from the idea, through the implementation, and finally the presentation of the collection", added Nia Dimitrova, a 4th-year student.
Although it was a students' fashion show, there were many guests, representatives of the fashion elite, journalists, photographers. Special guest of the event was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Krasimir Nedyalkov - President of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar".
The fashion stylist and lecturer at Varna Free University Stanimira Yanakieva made the conceptual design and organized the review. It was part of the Varna Free University's art event "7 days - art and design".

The annual review of students majoring in "Fashion design" will take place today, at 6.00 p.m. in the Eastern Park of the University.
