GALA CONCERT "HEAR ME, CHILD ..." FOR THE NATIONAL HOLIDAY OF BULGARIA

The gala concert "Hear me, child ..." will be performed on March 3, 2022, at 5.30 pm in Hall 1 of the Festival and Congress Center in Varna. For the 10th year VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" and Varna Municipality invite residents and guests of the sea capital to a concert dedicated to the Bulgarian spirit and traditions.On the stage we will see the talented and dedicated to folklore students from the Academic Dance Theater at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", students from the National High School of Humanities and Arts "Konstantin Preslavski", the talented children from The National School of Arts "Dobri Hristov"- Varna. "The show will show our rites and traditions, the freedom of the spirit that drives us forward," said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ivaylo Ivanov - Director of Artistic and Creative Activities at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar".
For the first time, two student diploma projects will be presented on the big stage. Valentin Mihaylov - Master in Performing Arts, Management and Production recreates ritual moments with the dance "Play, Lado, let's play", and fourth-year student and graduate in Choreography Simona Vasileva has creatively approached the fire dances in "Fire on the Village Square".
New dances were also prepared by the students from the representative ensemble of the Secondary School for Humanities and Arts in Varna. Part of their repertoire they perform together with the students from the Academic Dance Theater "Chernorizets Hrabar".
The talented singers from The National School of Arts "Dobri Hristov"- Presiana Leonidova and Mariya and Gergana Zlatevi also take part in the concert. We will see the actor Galin Ginev in the role of the grandfather, who passes on the heritage of Bulgarian traditions.
The culmination of the performance will be the classic work of Prof. Petar Angelov to the music of Kosta Kolev "Dances from Golitsa".
