FOUR GRADUATES OF VFU “CHERNORIZETS HRABAR” WILL COMPLETE THEIR PROFESSIONAL INTERNSHIP IN THE DISTRICT COURT – VARNA

District Court - Varna accepted five lawyers who will complete their mandatory professional internship at the institution. Four of them are graduates of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", and one is from the Sofia University "St Kliment Ohridski".

According to tradition, the intern-lawyers were welcomed by the chairman of the District Court - Varna, judge Marin Marinov, from whom they officially received their intern cards. He talks to his prospective colleagues about their legal preferences and where they plan to work in the future. He thanked them for their choice and pointed out that the court has separate civil, commercial and criminal divisions, which give them the opportunity to choose which cases to work with in the final stage of their preparation, the press service of the court reports.

The interns have two months for the so-called general experience. Its purpose is general familiarization with the main functions, duties and organization of the activities of the bodies of judicial power. During this time, they must acquire practical knowledge of the scheduling, preparation and conduct of court hearings and the preparation of court documents. In case that the internship is in the investigation - they will gain knowledge about the conduct of an investigation, the methods of proof in pre-trial proceedings and the preparation of documents by the investigator. When choosing the prosecutor's office, they will learn more about the suspension and termination of criminal proceedings, the preparation of the acts issued by the prosecutor after the investigation, as well as those in the order of instance and official control.

During the remaining four months, the interns complete a specialised internship in the specifically chosen area of ​​law. They necessarily participate in the drafting of acts and documents related to the subject of activity of the respective profession. This stage of the training is conducted under the guidance of a mentor with at least 5 years of experience in the relevant position.

After passing the professional internship, lawyers take an exam to acquire legal capacity at the Ministry of Justice
