FORMULATING PROFESSIONAL ARGUMENTATION FOR THE SUSTAINABLE ARCHITECTURAL DEVELOPMENT OF VARNA AND THE BLACK SEA COAST

Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" hosts a creative discussion on the problems of the Black Sea coast. The event is organised by the Union of Architects in Bulgaria with the support of the Faculty of Architecture of the University. The programme includes reports on current topics for the urbanization of coastal areas. The meeting will be attended by members of UBA and lecturers from the Department of Architecture and Urbanism. The two organizations have long-term, sustainable and working cooperation. The creative discussion was opened by Assoc. Prof. Eng. Rositsa Petkova – Slipets, PhD - Dean of the Faculty of Architecture of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar".
During the meeting, a complex development scheme of the Black Sea coast was presented, developed by students of architecture at Varna Free University.
"The participants in the forum will formulate professional arguments related to the successful development of Varna and the Black Sea coast, as a sustainable environment not only for recreation but also for the implementation of the economic potential, an environment that manages to preserve the rich landscapes of the coast for future generations." commented Prof. Todor Bulev, PhD President of the Union of Architects in Bulgaria.
